My Hotpot Story / Description

At the start of the game, you are a newly trained chef with a small amount of money to rent an old restaurant from someone else. The previous owner went bankrupt and had to sell the abandoned building. Your task is to clean up the remnants of the old establishment. Tables and chairs are scattered, paintings on the walls are rotting, and there is debris all over the floor. However, since it is an old restaurant, there are still usable tools that players can take advantage of. The restaurant is divided into two main areas - the kitchen and the main dining area. Cleaning the main dining area costs 350 coins, while the kitchen costs 200 coins. The players job is simple when a customer comes in and sits at a table. A sticky note will pop up for the staff to record the requested dish. Then, in the kitchen, bowls of spices and food are placed on the table. Players must choose the necessary ingredients to make the dish, put them in a pot, and wait for the result. Once the dish is finished, it is placed in a bowl and brought back to the table to serve the customer. After they finish eating, players collect green coins. A white broom will appear on the dining table, and by clicking on it, the table will be automatically cleaned. After a white smoke and dust rises, the dishes and chopsticks will be clean and shiny. As the owner of a famous hotpot shop, players can design and decorate the restaurant according to their own style and vision. It could have an ancient Chinese style with a domed shop and quaint white walls. The restaurants name is written in Chinese characters on the signboard. Alternatively, it could have a modern European style with light yellow glass windows, allowing customers to observe the street scene while they eat. A Japanese style is also an option with wooden sliding doors and low dining tables and chairs. Bonsai pots can add a cool ambiance to the hotpot experience. Once the hotpot restaurant becomes popular and makes enough money, players can upgrade to expensive finished products. Instead of serving traditional hotpot dishes, a buffet hotpot shop can be opened. A chain of conveyor belts is placed in the center of the shop, and it is the players job to quickly place available dishes on plates and fill the conveyor belt. Customers can sit at tables and chairs and pick what they want from the conveyor belt. After they finish eating, staff need to quickly clear the table. Hiring more staff can speed up service for busy customers. There is always a big chef wearing a white shirt as an NPC, and players can follow his instructions and activities to quickly integrate into the business. In the main kitchen, new recipes are constantly being created. The kitchen is always bustling with chefs running back and forth to please customers. Different areas are designated for specific tasks such as cooking, preserving dishes in glass cabinets, and preparing ingredients. Meat is sliced, bones are chopped, and vegetables, corn, and potatoes are arranged beautifully on plates. While customers enjoy their meals, players can bring in musical teams to perform for them. These performers can be hired at a low cost, and each customer at the table will give them a tip. Of course, that money will go to the players pocket. Customers of all ages and backgrounds come to the restaurant - bosses in elegant suits, elderly people with their families, and friends dressed in flashy clothing.
