The story begins with your awakening on a moon rock bay, three days after being knocked unconscious. However, you quickly realize that something is very wrong - your entire crew and teammates have been infected with a virus. They have gone insane and now want to attack you every time you cross paths. Your last memory is returning from another ship, where you were tasked with rescuing uninfected teammates. However, by the time you arrived, it was too late - everyone was already dead. The only way to end this nightmare is to uncover the mystery behind the virus and destroy your now-infected teammates.

Before the infection, your teammates were fun and interesting, bringing some light to the dark and eerie atmosphere of the ship. But now, they have become a threat to your survival. As you navigate through the ship, blue text appears on the screen, revealing hidden memories and clues about the enemy�s location. Gradually, the names of your deceased comrades - Rich, Spencer, Chris - start to appear in your mind. The blue text acts as a narration, adding to the sci-fi elements and suspense of the game.

In order to fight against the infected, weapons are a crucial part of your arsenal as a space warrior. The main weapon is a gun with bullets that can kill the zombies, but Ailment also offers a variety of other guns such as rifles, pistols, and more.
